Domino Effect Animal Rescue is a 501(c)3 non profit, no kill animal rescue located in Temecula Valley, California. Our mission is to reduce the number of adoptable animals in public animal shelters from being euthanized while providing a beneficial service to the community. We provide loving care for all animals in our possession until appropriate, permanent families are found to adopt them. For every animal that we rescue, we create a domino effect that reduces the city's costs required to house and care for those animals, as well as free up space which allows other animals in the shelters increased time to get adopted.

Looking to rehome your pet because you are moving or your pet has some behavioral issues? Before giving up your pet, check out our Resources page where you will find many links to training, pet friendly rentals and tips to help your pet remain part of the family!

If you still can no longer care for your pet,  please try to rehome him/her yourself by posting your pet online or in the newspaper instead of dropping your pet at the local shelter.
According to the American Humane Association, only 25% of dogs and 24% of cats that enter animal shelters get adopted. Approximately 3.7 million animals get euthanized in nation’s shelters annually. Often times, animals are euthanized simply due to overcrowding and the fact there is just not enough room to house all the animals constantly coming into the shelter. So even if your pet is young, sweet or a purebred, there are no guarantees that he/she will get adopted by another family.
